Rogue have beaten Complexity 2-0 at the Americas Minor to qualify for the FACEIT Major New Challengers Stage (19-16 on Mirage and 16-11 on Dust2).

The upper bracket final kicked off on Mirage where Complexity started on the T-side and won the first three rounds. Rogue dominated the weapon rounds, taking nine of the following eleven rounds to lead 9-5.

After trailing 9-6 at halftime, Complexity opened their CT-side campaign with the second half pistol round victory as Rory "⁠dephh⁠" Jackson & Jaccob "⁠yay⁠" Whiteaker both got double kills. Complexity managed to tie the game at 9-9 after winning two anti-eco rounds but Rogue took the first weapon round to lead 10-9.

Hiko is going to the Major

Rogue had a 14-10 advantage but Complexity won five rounds in a row to earn one map point. Rogue denied it after they won the 30th round off the back of Hunter "⁠SicK⁠" Mims's opening kill. Spencer "⁠Hiko⁠" Martin's team grabbed the map victory in overtime, finishing it off 19-16.

Dust2 started with Rogue on the CT-side and Complexity on the T-side. The teams exchanged three rounds to kick things off. Rogue won the seventh round and took the lead thanks to two opening kills by Daniel "⁠vice⁠" Kim (4-3).

Rogue finished the first half with an 8-7 lead but they lost the second half pistol round as yay’s triple kill tied the game at 8-8. Rogue came back from 10-8 and dominated the T-side. Hiko's team won the map 16-11 and took the series 2-0.

With this result, Rogue qualified for the FACEIT Major New Challengers Stage. Complexity will have another shot at qualifying in the Americas Minor consolidation final.
